Day Fourteen: The kids went to bed without an argument, the baby's fever broke, enough of my papers are graded, and it's not even 9:30. Need I say more? Thank you, cabernet and Tempur-pedic, for helping me wrap up this wonderful day.

What I Wouldn't Have Missed for Anything

Hearing Connlaodh use the words" Up" and "Please", unprompted, when he wanted to be picked up
Hearing Eibhlin refer to meat-eating dinosaurs as "eat-meaters"
Taidhgin jumping in the water- sans floatie- and swimming across the pool by himself- FOR THE FIRST TIME!
Taidhgin informed me of the fact that he is a boy, so he doesn't like baby DOLLS...he likes real babies
Eibhlin carefully writing her name over and over again to make sure that it looks just right
Connlaodh learning to say, "Noooooo puppy" to the dogs when they try to take his food
Connlaodh aping his sister's pirouettes and falling flat on his tush because he made himself so dizzy
Connlaodh making his "muscles" face and pose (GRRRRR)
Eibhlin spelling her name for us today- and getting it right for the first time! 6/3
The look on Connlaodh's face anytime he outsmarts us by doing something he's not supposed to do :-)
